Building a brand that shoots for the moon
Science education has the potential to be incredibly energetic – but Mike Francis found his kids were subject to snooze fests at their schools. Seeing an opportunity, he began Stars Science Theater, developing a program to teach astronomy to school groups.
Unfortunately, his entire business was literally a one-man show, and getting the word out about his work proved challenging.
Discovering Primer, Mike thumbed through lessons on branding and realized he could easily come up with more effective ways to market his business. The app helped Mike understand that a concise, powerful business pitch and a strong logo could free him from having to reintroduce himself to educators constantly and let him close deals more quickly.
Mike’s now performing in front of more schools and museums than ever before. And as he continues to develop his business, he remains excited to open more minds to the wonders of the stars.
